Maryanne has a proven track record of leading large scale programmes to deliver transformational change across healthcare organizations to achieve high level system wide improved clinical outcomes.
Maryanne is a Director for the Institute for Healthcare Improvement ( IHI), working onsite in the Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute, Hamad Medical Corporation.
Maryanne has presented at National and International events and taught numerous subject curriculums at Post graduate and Undergraduate University. She is an IHI breakthrough series collaborative graduate and has led many BTS collaborative at Organisational and National level to engage and inspire Executives, leaders and clinical teams to reduce harm and unwarranted variation in healthcare to achieve high impact and improved outcomes.
She was elected as the founding cohort of the Q community, Health Foundation, London and is a Fellow at the Highlands and Islands Institute, University of Highlands and Islands.
Maryanne won Scotland's Top Healthcare Manager award in 2017 and has had a long term interest in Quality Improvement. Her particular interest is in the Science of Improvement, Lean and Human Factors as a blended methodology. Maryanne is passionate about leading healthcare change and empowering staff to utilize innovation to transform care.
