Ms. Muna is senior quality improvement reviewer in Al Wakra hospital (AWH) for more than six years. She is dedicated, enthusiastic and self-motivated quality professional striving for continuously improve the healthcare system. Ms. Muna holds a bachelor degree in the science of nursing from the university of Jordan in 2009, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) in 2015, Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (CLSSGB) in 2016, TeamSTEPPS master trainer in 2018, IHI Open School graduate in 2020, and Quality Management Education Program graduate (QMEP) in 2021 and she is currently enrolled in Improvement Leadership Program.
She is one of the speakers in Fundamentals of Quality Improvement Course (FQIC) and Intermediate Quality Improvement Course (IQIC) brought by Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute (HHQI). She actively coordinates the National Patient Safety Collaborative (NPSC) initiative at AWH to reduce sepsis related mortality, she is one of HMC coaches for National Value Improvement Collaborative (NVIC) to improve the value of care and reduce cost-wastage.
Furthermore, she facilitates several quality improvement projects effectively, one of these projects recently win the Best Poster Award in Person-Centered Care Forum 2021 in measuring and improving what matters track, and another win the Rising Star Award in Stars of Excellence 2019 in Health: Quality and Patient Safety domain.
