Dr. Reham Hassan
Dr. Reham is the A/AED Quality Management and Partnerships at Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute. She has an MPH and currently a lecturer at CHS-QU, academically supporting the Health Systems Improvement MPH concentration and supervising master’s student’s practicum projects. She is an HMC/IHI fellow & IHI improvement Advisor. She is a clinical hematologist by training and practice. Dr. Reham joined Hamad Medical Corporation 17 years back as a frontline physician and taken over the responsibilities as a chief resident of NCCCR starting her first project in developing an internal rotating residents’ orientation program. Acting as the Medical Quality lead in NCCCR, she actively contributed in the continuous readiness for the JCI accreditation since 2006 and led several local improvement projects. In 2011, she was certified as professional health care quality, CPHQ by NAHQ and in 2012 she was certified as Six Sigma Green Belt. She is also certified as a level 1 clinical microsystems Coach by The Dartmouth Institute Microsystem Academy in 2013.
She is currently the executive manager of the IHI/HMC-HHQI partnership agreement and
leading different initiatives and workstreams under this partnership like National Value
Improvement Collaborative. She also co-leads on the HHQI education & Training agenda and the Program Director, core faculty and coach in several training programs of HMC/HHQI on Quality & Patient Safety among which the CCITP, Improvement Leadership Programs.
She is a coach and facilitator in The Comskil Training- HMC Communication Training Course. Her previous HMC works and contributions are Patient Experience Forum (2019) and the Middle East Forum (2014-2019) organizing and steering committee member, abstract/posters judge and speaker.
