Mental Health Helpline
The helpline aims to provide an easily-accessible support line for people in need of professional advice and care.
To access the helpline, which is available from 7am to 10pm every day, members of the public can telephone the toll free number, 16000.
To access services of the Mental Health Helpline Service call 16000, Press 2 for English, Press 3 for HMC Medical Services and Press 1 for Medical Consultation.
Mental health staff manning the helpline speak a range of languages and every effort will be made to enable callers to communicate in their language of choice, where possible.

Home Delivery of Medications
To access HMC's medication home delivery service, patients can call 16000 between 7am and 3pm , open daily from Saturday to Thursday. Qatar Post will deliver their medications on the next business day.

Elderly Telephone Reassurance Service
An initiative by the Geriatric and Long-term Care Department, staff from the Geriatric and Long-term Care Department are proactively telephoning people who are 60 years and older to offer advice and support on how to stay safe during the ongoing COVID-19 situation. The initiative, which is being run in cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO), aims to identify any potential healthcare risks early on and arrange appropriate medical care. This approach will reduce the risk of any potential healthcare issues becoming more acute and possibly requiring hospitalization.
