The Medical Research Center (MRC) Training Program is a specially
designed suite of modules, short courses and workshops for researchers.
We offers both on-site taught modules and short courses as well as
distance learning units meaning these are accessible to all the
researchers in HMC.
The specially designed modules for Good
Clinical Practice (GCP), Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR), Standard
Operating Procedures and short courses will provide the researchers
with an introduction to follow the standards of research governance as
well as the principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) for research as
outlined in the Supreme Council of Health (SCH) guidelines and
International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) GCP. Each module/course
is designed to be free standing but there are also a number of advanced
modules and short courses which are intended for more experienced
researchers. All our training sessions are designed to help you
considerably with aspects of your research, responsible conduct of good
research, protection for human subject research and presenting your
research results.
The MRC offers a range of interactive learning,
informative and training presentations, demos and ‘how to’ videos to
improve the online experience. Here you will find useful help and
lessons suitable for beginners as well as all those who are interested
in human subject research. You can download these resources or watch
them online.
In addition to onsite training for the researchers,
the Medical Research Center recommends external online training
resources that provide valuable information about best practices for
research.
