​Online Professional Development Courses  ​

Through a unique partnership between the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), students, trainees, professionals, health systems, and institutions of higher learning can access the world renowned IHI Open School to give them skills and knowledge to drive improvements in health care delivery.

To date more than nine million IHI Open School courses have been completed worldwide. 

IHI and HMC have partnered to build critical patient safety, quality and quality improvement capability by contextualizing and translating IHI Open School courses into Arabic giving more health care professionals in Qatar and the MENA region access to these resources.

The group subscription includes13 courses available in both Arabic and English, in Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, Leadership, Person and Family Centered Care and the Triple Aim. When completed in full, learners can obtain the Basic Certificate in Quality and Safety as well as the Safety and Quality Improvement Micro-Credential* and earn a total of 17.75* hours.
