Quality Section



The clinical imaging quality management section supports the goals and objectives that providing a structured and focused multidisciplinary approach to quality management activities to assist the corporate clinical imaging service program in partnership with individual clinical imaging department to manage and improve the standards of care, systems, and processes in line with the accreditation, HMC regularity body, and corporate clinical imaging guidelines collaborated with principles of Qatar Health Strategy 2018-2022.

The section is functioning under broad titles including quality management strategy, standard practice & accreditation, risk management & safety, patient experience and concerns, quality improvement activities & projects, and finally the policy & procedures. Each of these titles has a specified scope of service and integrated corporate functions that highly considering the rapid expansion of this service in both horizontally and vertically axes.

Through the Clinical imaging quality section goals, the strategy is striving to ensure providing timely and clinically appropriate corporate clinical imaging services to the highest standard of safe healthcare service for all patients, staff, and community within timely and accurate clinical imaging reports that support the diagnosis, clinical management, and treatment of patients with the importance of delivering the highest quality services that are patient-centered, safe and effective in an environment of a supportive culture of beliefs, confidentiality, privacy and continuous quality improvement that meet the international quality and safety of healthcare accreditation standards directed by qualified leaders to support HMC in achieving its mission and deliver clinical imaging services within the best outcome measures applying recognized standards and evidence-based practice.
