Talib is a seasoned nurse executive and clinical leader with 34 years’ experience in healthcare. He completed his RN training and then specialized in intensive care nursing before moving into nurse manager and executive positions in various hospitals in England. Talib successfully completed five nurse executive roles and has worked as part of the Chief Nursing Officer for England’s team as the Regional Nurse Director for NHS Northwest. In addition, Talib has completed roles as Deputy CEO, Chief Operating Officer and Acting CEO in healthcare services.
Talib joined HMC in November 2013 following three years in Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi as the Nurse Director for Ambulatory and ED Care , and as the Director of Quality and Accreditation with Zayed Military Hospital.
Most notably, Talib was awarded an O.B.E. from the Queen of England in 1998 for his services to nursing management and Furness General Hospital.
