What is the Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC)?
The Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) is a vital partnership initiative at Hamad Medical Corporation, bringing together patients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure that the voices of those we serve are meaningfully integrated into how care is delivered.
PFAC plays a key role in advancing person-centered care by promoting open dialogue, co-designing services, and informing hospital decisions and improvement strategies. Through this collaborative platform, advisors contribute to shaping policies, enhancing care quality, and fostering a culture of dignity, empathy, and respect across all HMC facilities.
