The Admission Service at Al Wakra Hospital is located at the Main Entrance.
After hours admissions are processed via the Main Reception Desk also located at the Main Entrance. Unplanned obstetric admissions should present at Emergency for pre-assessment and admission to the Maternity Unit.
The Admitting Department plays an integral role in the support of patients through appropriate and timely bed allocation to patients who require admittance to the Hospital. We are a dedicated team who work hard to provide a friendly, efficient and timely service.
As a department we work closely with Inpatient units, the Emergency Department, Labor Room and other support services within the Hospital (including medical records and patient accounting departments). We are available 24 hours a day to ensure we offer the highest possible service to our patients.
