Visiting Times

Family and friends are encouraged to visit patients as this assists in the recovery process. To ensure that patients can see loved ones while also receiving adequate rest and medical supervision, please adhere to the visitation hours provided by each hospital. Some specialized units have their own hours and guidelines so please check with the department reception or with the nursing staff of the unit.

Visiting Restrictions

Visiting times may be restricted depending on the health and condition of the individual patient and whether they are in a special unit. For the protection of children, HMC generally discourages children from visiting hospitals. Visiting times for children under 12 years of age are restricted so please check the specific guidance for the hospital. Children must be always supervised and accompanied by an adult.
