Dr. Salma Taha (Qatar)
Dr. Salma Taha is a consultant in the Allergy Immunology Division at HMC, a core faculty member, and the Clinical Competency Committee Chair in the Combined Allergy and Immunology Fellowship training program in Qatar.
She has four years of experience in allergy and immunology practice. Dr. Taha was granted her medical degree (MBBS) from Gezira in Sudan in 2004.
Dr. Salma completed her training in two fellowships (Pulmonary Medicine and Allergy & Immunology) in 2017. She then moved to Doha, Qatar, where she finished her residency training in Internal Medicine in 2012, is certified by the Arab Board of Medical Specialization and holds the Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP-UK). Dr. Taha was involved in four published original research, one book chapter authorship, and six ongoing research projects.
Additionally, Dr. Salma is an active member of the division's educational and guideline task teams.
