This year, the conference will be aligned with the Qatar National Healthcare strategy for 2018-2022. The event will focus on specific populations such as pediatrics and mental health patients. The conference will tackle emerging issues in Qatar such as mental health stigma, antimicrobial stewardship implementation, pharmacy education and emergency preparedness. The conference will also address novelties in the field of pharmacy such as pharmacogenomics and the role of pharmacists in patient on Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) in addition to a focus on community practice, leadership skills and research.

For this event, we have invited some of the prestigious figures in Qatar and around the world to provide the best learning experience for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals. The aim of this event is to encourage professional development and enhance the knowledge, skills and confidence of healthcare professionals especially pharmacists and pharmacy technicians across the state of Qatar. 

The conference will offer a total of four days of interactive educational workshops and lectures that will offer new insights in the field of pharmacy and align health care professionals with the new national healthcare strategy of Qatar.
