Dr. Gayane Melikyan
Dr. Melikyan, MD, Ph.D. is a Consultant Neurologist at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar, and Assistant Professor of Neurology at Weill Cornell Medical College - Qatar (WCMC-Q).
- She holds the Armenian Neurology Board and a Ph.D. in Epilepsy (2007)
- She was a fellow at the Neurology Internship in Salzburg, Austria (AAF)
- Dr. Gayane is a Former President of the Armenian League Against Epilepsy (ALAE).
- She received several teaching awards at WCMC-Q, the latest was Certificate of appreciation as recognition of valued contribution in the Epilepsy training in ABP, Qatar Foundation.
- Dr. Gayane is Member of many international societies such as the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) and the American Epilepsy Society (AES)
- Dr. Gayane has many peer-reviewed publications in epilepsy and related disorders journals and two book chapters.
