Mohamad Fakih, RN, MScN

Mohamad Fakih holds a Master of Science in Nursing and Healthcare Leadership and brings 20 years of experience across the MENA region, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Lebanon. His expertise spans healthcare leadership, quality, patient safety, healthcare startups, restructuring, team building, staff empowerment, and entrepreneurship. He is highly skilled in staff and patient engagement and has played a leading role in the commissioning, start-up, and management of nine hospitals across the region.

He currently serves as Chief Nursing Officer at Fakeeh University Hospital and Medical Director for Fakeeh Home Healthcare. In addition, he is a Consultant for the Australian Council for Healthcare Standards (ACHS), with a focus on nursing excellence, evidence-based practice, staff engagement initiatives, shared governance model implementation, quality, patient safety, and risk management.

Previously, Mr. Fakih held the role of Chief Nursing Officer in several large-scale and highly reputed hospitals in the UAE and wider regions. He has successfully led the implementation of quality, patient safety, and patient engagement standards, preparing nursing departments for major accreditations and certifications, including JCIA, ACHS, Planetree, and Magnet designation.
