
Dr .Radwan Faraj FRCOG
Dr. Radwan Faraj, a distinguished Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, currently leads and co-founded Women's Health services at Al-Shaheen Medical Centre in Doha. Specializing in infertility treatment, assisted conception, pregnancy scanning, and gynecological conditions, Dr. Faraj's expertise extends to minimal access surgery, including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic gynaecological procedures. He offers a range of fertility treatments and laparoscopic tubal surgery.
As the Lead of the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit (EPAU) and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sheffield, Dr. Radwan actively contributes to academic pursuits. Serving as the medical director of Muscat's inaugural IVF unit where the first IVF baby was born, he boasts over 20 publications in reproductive medicine.
An Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Qatar University, Dr. Radwan holds accreditations as a Trainer in Pelvic Ultrasound by the British Fertility Society. His influential role in medical education involves serving as the Medical Education Lead/Undergraduate Tutor at the University of Sheffield.
In research, Dr. Radwan leads in O&G, overseeing four trials from 2017 to 2022. Since 2013, he has been a committee member and examiner for Part 3 MRCOG. Beyond his medical roles, he serves as a Medicolegal Expert, holding the position of GMC Medicolegal expert for Fitness to Practice panels.
