Sofie Nelis, is a Dutch trained physician, who moved to Qatar four years ago. She works at Aspetar, a world leading specialised orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital and one of 11 IOC research centres worldwide for prevention of injury and protection of athletes’ health.
She is working in the Medical Education Department, as lead medical education specialist and acting head of CME/CPD. She is currently doing a PhD on implementing shared decision making in sports medicine.
