Dear colleagues,

The Rheumatology Division in Hamad Medical Corporation is delighted to invite all rheumatologists to participate in our 3rd Qatar Musculoskeletal Ultrasound course. Following its great success in the last two years, we have increased the number of trainers in order to accommodate more participants.

Although there are various musculoskeletal ultrasound courses being held all over the world including in the Middle East, our course is unique as it is specifically tailored to meet the demands of the practicing rheumatologist.

This is a four-day course of intense ultrasound training, divided into two levels.

1. Basic course: for those who are beginners in ultrasound practice
2. Intermediate level: for those who are already practicing ultrasound and would like to improve their skills to a higher level.

For the second year running we have added vasculitis and parotid gland ultrasound sessions, as well as ultrasound guided injection techniques.

Emphasis is focused on individualized training in small groups. This is guaranteed by the presence of internationally-acclaimed trainers who will give lectures, demos and hands-on training.

This course is accredited by the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR) for diploma credit points, and will be certified by the European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (EFSUMB). The course will also be accredited CPD hours by the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP).
