A warm welcome to the Qatar Clinical Abdominal MRI Course 2016 (QCAM 2016). We are proud to present a comprehensive program which comprises the clinical MRI course for GI, GU and pelvic imaging. This course will take place from Friday, 20 May 2016 to Sunday, 22 May 2016 at Hajar Auditorium, HMC Medical Education Center.

The Clinical Imaging Department and the Body Imaging Section at Hamad Medical Corporation have invited internationally renowned speakers from Harvard Medical School at Massachusetts General Hospital and the University of Toronto to conduct a three-day intensive MRI course covering abdominal and pelvic imaging.

The aim of this course is to present and share the latest advances in abdominal MRI medical imaging and to enhance the capabilities of imaging professionals. This event is open to all radiologists, residents and fellows with an interest in abdominal and pelvic imaging.

The Qatar Clinical Abdominal MRI Course and Workshop 2016 will include sessions on image interpretation, modern MRI techniques and updated MRI applications for suspected hepatobiliary, pancreatic, adrenal and renal diseases. Gynecological, prostate and disorders involving the soft tissues of the pelvis will also be covered.

This program has been organized in line with the mission and vision of the Clinical Imaging Department and the Body Imaging Section at HMC; to promote excellent patient care through state-of-the-art medical imaging services, to provide clinical education to medical and allied health professionals, to create, evaluate and disseminate knowledge and technology and to provide innovative solutions for improving the health of the general public.
