The need for site approval for projects involving the DLMP resources requires active engagement of researchers with the Medical Research Council in Qatar and the DLMP Research Committee.
Staff interested in undertaking a research study should contact personnel in the Medical Research Center in the first instance. To apply for research funding, staff must be registered on the ABHATH platform (
https://abhath.hamad.qa). To register it is necessary to have completed 3 on-line preparatory research modules through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program) that can be accessed at
www.citiprogram.org. These courses include the following and when completed the Certificates should be loaded on to ABHATH. The Basic Course must be repeated after 3 years.
