Dr. Mahmoud Ali Zirie
Senior Consultant and Head of the Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Department of Medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation
Dr. Mahmoud A. Zirie is a Senior Consultant and Head of the Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Department of Medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation. He is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar and Head of the Scientific Committee, Qatar Diabetes Association.
Dr. Zirie is certified with the American Board of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, the American Board – Internal Medicine, the Arab Board – Internal Medicine and the Jordan Board – Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of both the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the American College of Physician and a Member of both the Jordan Medical Association and the Qatar Diabetes Association. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including awards from Hamad Medical Corporation, the Qatar Diabetes Association and the Youth and Sports Association.
Dr. Zirie has authored more than 40 publications related to diabetes, endocrinology and metabolism in international peer reviewed journals.
