Continuing Professional Development
In support of improving patient care, Hamad Medical Corporation will provide continuing professional development credit hours for delegates attending the Middle East Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare.
This activity has the approval from the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners*1 (QCHP) - Accreditation Department as an Accredited Group Learning Activity Category 1. Attendees can achieve up to a maximum of 19*2.
CPD Points Breakdown per package:
- General Conference (24th & 25th March 2018) – 13.5 CPD Point
- Full Conference (23rd, 24th & 25th March 2018) – 19 CPD Points
CPD Points Breakdown per day:
- Friday 23 March – 5.5 CPD Points
- Saturday 24 March – 8.25 CPD Points
- Sunday 25 March – 5.25 CPD Points
*1 QCHP is a non-profit government body that regulates the healthcare practice and medical education in State of Qatar.

Attendance during your lunch break at a Lunch & Learn session on Saturday and Sunday will allow you to obtain one bonus CPD hour on top of the 19 hours. Registration for these sessions will be available soon via the delegate’s registration profile.
Credit hours are based on attendance per session for each day; delegates need to attend at least 80% of a session in order to qualify for the CPD hours. Each delegate name badge has a chip that will monitor attendance per session, as per corporate policy
Certificates
Certificates of attendance, listing CPD hours earned, will be available for download one week after the conference ends.
