The Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute (HHQI) was established with the single-minded purpose of improving the quality of healthcare within Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), the State of Qatar and the greater region.

The HHQI seeks to introduce the latest innovations and evidence-based healthcare solutions, embracing the roles design, improvement, research, training and implementation, to create a first-of-its-kind resource in the region that enables sustainable healthcare improvement.

HHQI builds on and complements existing quality improvement activities within HMC, supporting its vision of delivering the safest, most effective and most compassionate care to each and every one of our patients.

The patient is positioned at the core of HHQI’s operational framework and is the focus of efforts to design new systems and processes while developing a more capable workforce. The HHQI acts as a key enabler of quality transformation by supporting hospitals and entities, professional groups including medical and nursing, clinical institutes and specialist services to deliver improvements to health and health outcomes.
