Jennie Ross

Jennifer has a clinical background in acute nursing. Discovering her passion for patient safety and improvement through participation in the Scottish Patient Safety Programme. Selection for the third Cohort of SPSP fellows and completing her MSc in Patient Safety, a clinical Human Factors approach at the University of Aberdeen in 2012 enhanced her practical frontline improvement work.

Jennifer is an honorary lecturer at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, UK, teaching Human Factors, Patient Safety and Quality Improvement on the under and post-graduate Pharmacy curriculum. Jennifer has previous experience in the Middle East working with the USAID ASSIST project in the West Bank, State of Palestine, running an improvement collaborative focusing on the reduction of HAI. 22 hospitals working together to make reliable improvements to patient outcomes.

Jennifer has presented her work at the local, national and international level and co-authored a number of publications.
