Naim Younis

Naim Younis, obtained both Bsc in 1979 and a Master Degree in Engineering from Washington State University , Washington state . USA in 1981.

I have been with HMC since 1982 and progressed my career in Health Facilities Development to become the Executive Director of Health Facilities Projects Management and construction within the Health Facilities Development Division. Throughout my career over the last 37 years I have been involved in almost every health care project in Qatar including the private sector. I have worked with professional collogues in HMC on the transformation of HMC Health Facilities to what we see them today. I have also been involved in the health facilities operations and management which enriched my professional knowledge with hands on experience with all aspects and requirements of safe and patient centric models being involved on daily basis with the clinical and support teams.

I have participated in many international conferences and workshops on the development of state of the art health facilities including the development of special lighting for patient’s rooms with a leading manufacturer.
I have also been involved in design and construction of health facilities in other developing countries as a volunteer with charity organizations.
