Yaw B. Owusu, has been a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Qatar University College of Pharmacy in Doha, Qatar since 2014. He is a pharmacist who practices in adult internal medicine. Yaw Owusu graduated from Temple University School of Pharmacy, Pennsylvania, USA, with Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2007. He completed a Pharmacy Practice residency at Balyor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, USA in 2008. From 2008 to 2010, he completed an Ambulatory Care Specialty residency and a Master’s degree in Pharmacy (Outcomes Research) at The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy in Austin, Texas, USA. From 2010-2014, Yaw Owusu taught the University of Hawaii-Hilo College of Pharmacy in Hawaii, USA. His research interests include outcomes of acute and chronic disease states management, literature evaluation and evidence-based medicine, and, infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship.
