Rachel Morris

Rachel is a writer, blogger and communications specialist living in Doha, Qatar. A journalist by training, she worked at some of Australia’s top newspapers and magazines before moving to the Middle East in 2006. She was previously the Managing Editor of one of Qatar’s top English language newspapers before turning her hand to communications and public relations working with clients in oil and gas, hospitality and healthcare.<br> Rachel joined HMC full time in 2013 and has played a key role in establishing and growing the Corporation’s successful social media presence. She is currently a Program Manager in the Corporate Communications Department at Hamad Medical Corporation. She is also a food a travel blogger and her blog, Life on the Wedge, has gained a loyal and growing following in Qatar and beyond.
