​We encourage our researchers to identify problems through their observations and to find solutions to those problems through research. To this end we work as a mentoring agency that fosters change through leadership coalitions within specialties and organizations, for it is our belief that researchers  can lead  change by identifying challenges and finding solutions to them, and what are researchers if not leaders?

The overall role/responsibility of MRC is to provide support for Principal Investigator’s (PI) research pursuits while ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations and policies.

Some of the responsibilities of MRC staff are to:
  • Assist PI to prepare research proposal submissions
  • Assist the PI to ensure that the rights and welfare of human research participants are protected through data security of consents and other protected records
  • Facilitate the study through various levels of review such as scientific, hospital governnace, legal, IRB etc.

  • Coordinate with the hospital facilities regarding study sites.
  • Assist PI to develop and coordinate budgets, administrative elements such as contracts, data/ material transfer agreements etc.
  • Ensure all studies are proposed and conducted in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
  • Monitor if and when required and correct any non-compliance.
