Dr. Fiaz Alam 

Dr. Fiaz Alam graduated from Khyber Medical College, Peshawar, Pakistan. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Rheumatology Fellowship and has been serving as a Consultant Rheumatologist at Hamad General Hospital (HGH) since 2018.

Research has been a cornerstone of Dr. Fiaz's medical career. He was honored with the Best Research Award in 2017 and was named Clinician of the Year in 2025 for his outstanding contributions to patient care and clinical excellence.

Dr. Fiaz has a special interest in musculoskeletal ultrasonography and currently leads a dedicated weekly ultrasound clinic in the outpatient department at HGH.

In addition to his clinical commitments, Dr. Fiaz remains actively involved in academic and research initiatives and is committed to contributing to the advancement of medical and scientific landscape in Qatar. He is also a proud member of both the Qatar Rheumatology Association and the Qatar Osteoporosis Association.​
