The Organizing Committee of the 1st Qatar Conference on Laboratory Medicine and Pathology cordially invites researchers, pathologists, laboratory professionals, and healthcare practitioners to submit abstracts for this premier event being held in Doha, Qatar, from 30 October to 1 November 2025.


This is a unique platform to exchange cutting-edge research, innovative clinical practices, interesting case reports and advances in laboratory medicine and pathology.

We welcome original submissions across a broad spectrum of specialties, including but not limited to:

  • Anatomic Pathology: Surgical pathology, cytology, and immunohistochemistry

  • Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases: Virology, parasitology, and mycology

  • Hematopathology
  • Transfusion Medicine

We welcome abstracts on the following cross-cutting themes:

  • Pathology Education and Quality: Share your experiences in education, training, professional development, audits, and quality assurance.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Highlight successful cooperation between clinicians, radiologists, geneticists, IT experts, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Digital Pathology and Artificial Intelligence: Present how digital tools and artificial intelligence improve diagnosis, workflow, and patient care.
  • New Technologies: Share research on new methods like next-generation sequencing, liquid biopsy, and molecular imaging in pathology.
  • Advances in rapid diagnostics and point of care tests
  • Current diagnostic trends in Precision Medicine
  • Interesting cases and/or new clinical approaches

Accepted abstracts will be presented as poster presentations during the Conference. A small number of exceptional abstracts (not exceeding six in total) will be selected for oral platform presentation.
