Dr. Amal Ahmed Al-Rashid born in Qatar and is a graduate of Jordan University. Her residency was at HMC and she obtained her Diagnostic Imaging board certification as MD from Arab Board of Medical Specialization. Then she completed her fellowship training at HMC for two years, followed by one year at Laribosiere Hospital AP-HP-Paris, France.
Dr. Amal is a senior consultant radiologist at HMC with more than 10 years’ experience in body imaging. She is well-known for her interest and experience in gyne-oncology imaging interpretation, being core faculty of Gynae-oncology tumor board for more than 7 years. During her career life she was recipient of Best Resident award on 2010, Award of global excellence on 2015 and star of clinical Imaging on 2019.
She is a speaker in local conferences and has numerous publications in the field of diagnostic imaging.
In addition to her clinical role as a Sr. Consultant Radiologist, she is currently the Associate program director of Radiology residency program and a deputy head of Body Imaging section at HMC.
Dr Amal enjoys Travel, reading and spending time with her family.
