Dr. Amel Khalifa is an Attending Physician in the Department of Pediatric Endocrinology at Sidra Medicine and has over 17 years of experience.
Dr Khalifa first certified By Arab Board Health Specialization in general pediatrics. After completing three years fellowship training program in pediatric endocrine and diabetes in endocrine department in Hamad hospital, then work in Hamad hospital after that transfer to Sidra Medicine Corporation, Dr. Khalifa is Member of different endocrine society.
Dr. Khalifa has been the recipient of a number of awards and recommendations, including best teacher award nominated by students at Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar. He also received appreciation from the Qatar Diabetes Association and Foundation for contributing to the success of the right of diabetic student in Qatar. Dr Khalifa has had different publications on the topics of diabetes and endocrine disease.
