Hani Ghassan Hamad, Infectious Disease Fellow

Hani Ghassan Hamad is a physician with a strong foundation in internal medicine and a growing specialization in infectious diseases. He completed his medical degree at the Jordan University of Science and Technology (2013–2019), where he developed an early interest in clinical medicine and evidence-based practice.

Dr. Hamad pursued his internship and residency in internal medicine from 2019 to 2024, gaining extensive experience in managing complex medical conditions across diverse patient populations. He subsequently achieved certification from the Qatari Board of Internal Medicine, reflecting his commitment to clinical excellence and rigorous training.

He is currently a second-year Infectious Disease fellow at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), where he is advancing his expertise in the diagnosis and management of infectious diseases, antimicrobial stewardship, and hospital epidemiology. His professional interests include emerging infections, tropical diseases, and quality improvement in infectious disease care.

Dr. Hamad remains dedicated to continuous learning, research involvement, and contributing to the improvement of patient outcomes within the field of infectious diseases.
