
Dr. Shaimaa Arroub
Dr. Shaimaa Arroub is a graduate from Dubai Medical College - U.A.E. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation in 2015, with Arab Board of Health Specializations Certification. She gained a postgraduate diploma in Diabetes in January 2018 from St George’s University- London. She is currently an Associate Consultant in the Endocrinology department at Hamad General Hospital.
She is also runs the Endocrine and Diabetes Clinic for transplant patients who require special care and follow-up.
She has participated in several research projects, with her latest involving studying genetics versus environmental causes of diabetes in Qatar. Dr. Arroub’s current focus is making a significant contribution to Qatar’s health community; together with striving towards having a major impact on patient care in order to develop a healthier, more vibrant life in the local community and beyond.
