Dr. Yasser Eldeeb

Dr. Yasser Eldeeb is a Senior Consultant in Infectious Diseases in Hamad Medical Corporation. He joined Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) in 1989.

Dr. Eldeeb graduated from Ain Shams University in 1986, where he did his Internship in Ain Shams University hospitals. He finished his Arab Board residency training in Internal Medicine and was certified in the year 2000.

He completed a Fellows training in Infectious diseases in 2007, and was promoted to Consultant in Infectious Diseases. In the same year he moved to Al Khor Hospital to open the first specialized TB clinic outside HMC’s main campus in Doha.

Apart from Infectious Diseases, Dr. Eldeeb has extensive experience in Quality Improvement, Guidelines and Clinical pathways development.

He was appointed as chair of clinical guidelines and pathways committee at Al Khor Hospital; and established the infection control service in Al Khor. During the time he chaired infection control at the hospital, he led the team who were instrumental in the hospital gaining three consecutive accreditations from the Joint commission International 2009, 2012 and 2015, with excellent remarks.

Dr. Eldeeb currently heads the internal medicine teams in Al Khor Hospital. He has a strong interest in the pathophysiology of sepsis.
