I am pleased to extend a warm welcome to you all to the 5th Arab Board & MRCOG OB/GYN OSCE Training Course, which will be held at the Women’s Wellness and Research Center (WWRC), Doha, Qatar from 2 to 4 January 2020. This is a 3-day intensive OSCE training course for both Final Arab Board and MRCOG examinations.
The training course will be conducted by Dr. Salwa Abu Yaqoub, a Senior Consultant in OB/GYN and the Vice Chair for Education and Training at the Women’s Wellness and Research Center (WWRC) in Hamad Medical Corporation, Doha, Qatar. Other lecturers and trainers are Prof. Shawqi Saleh, MD, FRCOG, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Jordan and Chairman of the Scientific Council for the Specialization of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Dr. Medhat Hassanaien, Senior Consultant OB/GYN, MRCOG examiner and author and co-author of several best-selling MRCOG books. They will also be joined by a faculty of experienced consultants in both the Arab Board and the MRCOG Examinations, and other proficient OB/GYN faculty members.
The course will cover:
- OSCE clinical scenarios, emergencies, role playing, breaking bad news
- OSCE skills including communications and counselling, risk management, audit and more
- Arab Board PowerPoint slides training and instruments practice
- Family planning and mock exams etc.
