Dr. Azmi Hamzaoglu (Turkey)
Dr. Azmi is a famous spine surgeon who presently serves as a Senior Consultant at the Istanbul Center at the Florence Nightingale Hospital and as a Professor and Chief of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology.
Dr. Azmi graduated from University of Istanbul, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. He did his fellowship from Minnesota Spine Center from December 1989 to July 1990 and in Sapparo, Japan in May 1991.
Dr. Azmi is an active member of many international spine societies including, Scoliosis Research Society (SRS), Group International Cotrel Dubousset (G.I.C.D.), Turkish Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology and the Turkish Society of Spine Surgery.
Dr. Azmi has written many chapters in international spine books in collaboration with renowned spine surgeons like Alexender Vaccarro and has served on several committees related to the spine specialty.
