Dr. Dan Riew (USA)​

Dr. Dan Riew is Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery in the Neurosurgery Dept of Weill Cornell Medicine and Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery of Columbia University, Co-Director of Och Spine, Weill-Cornell Medical Centre and Co-Director of the Columbia University Spine Fellowship. His practice is exclusively limited to the operative treatment of cervical spine disorders. He has published over 350 peer-reviewed papers and over 500 total publications. He has received multiple outstanding research paper awards from the Cervical Spine Research Society, the North American Spine Society, the Scoliosis Research Society and the North American Spine Society 2017 Leon Wiltse Award for excellence in leadership and/or clinical research in spine care. He has served as a visiting professor, grand rounds speaker, key or named lecturer over 100 times in over 20 countries and has given hundreds of other invited lectures. He has served as President of the Cervical Spine Research Society and AO Spine. He is a Deputy or Associate Editor of the Global Spine Journal, Spine, European Spine Journal, and Neurosurgery journals.
