Dr. Vishali Gupta
Dr. Vishali Gupta is an accomplished Vitreo-Retina and Uvea expert of international repute working at PGIMER Chandigarh-India. She is president of International Uveitis Study Group and Vice president of Vitreo Retina Society of India and past president of Uveitis Society of India. She is only Indian to be member of Club Jules Gonin and first Indian to be member of The Macula Society. She is a sought-after speaker and has delivered more than 1022 invited lectures and conducted several instruction courses at various international and national meetings. She has 384 Pubmed indexed publications; has edited six books and contributed 84 book chapters in textbooks. She has h index of 70 and 17400 till Jan 2025. She has several named awards and lectures to her credit and holds two US patents and is rated as top 2 percent of world scientist in Stanford ranking. She is chairing the only Mch. training program in Vitreoretinal Surgery at PGI Chandigarh that offers three years dedicated training.
