Dr. Mohamed Siddig is a senior consultant psychiatrist and the Clinical Director of the community mental health services at Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar, where he has overseen numerous projects and programs to develop community mental health services.
Dr. Siddig graduated from Jordan University medical school and completed his basic and higher psychiatric training in Ireland where he obtained the membership of the Royal College of Psychiatry in London. He also obtained a Certificate of Specialist Training in Psychiatry from Dublin and earned a doctorate in neuroimaging of schizophrenia from the National University of Ireland.
Dr. Siddig has higher qualifications in health service management, medical education, addiction medicine and clinical research from Ireland and the United Kingdom.
In addition to his 15 years of experience in psychiatry in Ireland, he also has experience from Jordan, Saudi Arabia and now in Qatar.
Dr. Siddig has more than 40 peer reviewed publications in international journals as well as book publications. He is a member of many European and Regional psychiatric associations.
