Dr. Samya Al Abdulla has extensive experience of both clinical practice and healthcare leadership combined with a strong commitment to drive patient centric development in healthcare to achieve International quality standards.
As the Executive Director of Operation at PHCC she has been instrumental in designing and delivering the implementation of innovative community health interventions. She has been the motivating force behind population health screening programs in primary care centers, such as SMART health check clinics, and management of diabetes and other non-communicable diseases.
Dr. Samya has been a key driver towards the implementation of the Family Medicine Model across all PHCC health centers as well as the implementation of specialist centers which include services such as mental health, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology etc. within PHCC, allowing patients to receive care closer to their homes.
She has contributed published several researches papers related to mental health and chronic diseases; & has been a speaker in numerous conferences both at International & Local platforms.
Dr. Samya us a Family Medicine Residency program faculty member and Assistant Professor of Family Medicine in Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College.
