Dr. Robert J. Hoffman, MD, MS, is a Medical Toxicologist at the Sidra Medical and Research Center in Doha, Qatar. Dr. Hoffman is a fellow of the American College of Medical Toxicology and the American College of Emergency Physicians. He founded the International Committee of the American College of Medical Toxicology to foster collaborations between toxicologists in the US and their foreign colleagues. Dr. Hoffman has been actively engaged in developing emergency medicine training programs and clinical toxicology services in the GCC for the past six years, initially in the United Arab Emirates and currently in Qatar.
