  1. First Comprehensive Stroke Center in MENA, HMC’s Neuroscience Institute is certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center the first in the Middle East by international standards, offering advanced thrombectomy and neurocritical care.
  1. Global Recognition: In 2025, HMC’s Qatar Metabolic Institute (QMI) received the UN Inter-Agency Task Force Award for global leadership in metabolic health. The award was presented during the 80th UN General Assembly in New York on 25 September 2025.
  1. Person-Centered Care: Four HMC facilities, including the Communicable Disease Center and Women’s Wellness and Research Center, hold the Planetree Gold Certification for excellence in patient care.
  1. Neuroscience Milestone: HMC’s Rumailah Hospital became the first facility outside the UK to receive international accreditation for its Memory Services, pioneering early dementia detection through corneal nerve imaging.
  1. Elite Trauma Care: The HMC Trauma Program maintains mortality rates lower than many leading North American counterparts.
  1. Recognition for Patient Experience: HMC’s Person-Centered Care Program won the Excellence in Family-Centered Care award, and its Center for Patient Experience and Staff Engagement won the Best Patient Experience Team award at the international Patient Experience Congress
