
Alan Dubovsky
Alan Dubovsky is the Vice President and Chief Patient Experience Officer for Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, California.
In his role, Alan is responsible for the facilitation of all patient experience strategies and operations improvements in the inpatient, ambulatory, emergency, and ancillary areas.
Alan also leads the department of Interpretation Services, providing language interpretation and translation needs to all patients. In addition, Alan is responsible for Patient Advocacy, the department tasked with managing complaints and grievances, and Lobby Services, the team responsible for first impressions at all entry points of the hospital.
Alan also founded and leads the West Coast Patient Experience Collaborative, bringing together 20+ major health systems across the Western United States.
Alan leads the international Patient Experience efforts for Cedars-Sinai, taking the successes of the Cedars-Sinai program to international audiences and fostering best-practice sharing.
Alan joined Cedars-Sinai in November 2016 and has over 20 years of healthcare patient experience improvement. He completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at the University of Georgia and his Executive master’s in business administration at Emory University.
