The first
Qatar International Geriatric and Gerontology Conference will be held in Doha, Qatar from 31 October to 2 November 2019, organised by Hamad Medical Corporation, in collaboration with the British Geriatric Society. This year conference team is stored a longer productive age. The key focus if the teaching and ovation for the Front-line staff in hospital for an of care settings.
This scientific committee invites you to participate in this important conference, the first of its kind in Qatar and the region, which is relevant to all healthcare professionals in the Middle East. You are invited to submit an abstract to share knowledge and expertise.
The conference, which will feature prominent experts presenting upon critical issues relevant to the region, focuses on five aspects related to the field of ageing, including:
- Advanced care plan and patient dignity
- Dementia
- Frailty and co morbidities
- Early rehabilitation and preventing de-conditioning

Abstracts will be peer reviewed. Acceptance will be based on content and the agreed criteria stipulated by the conference scientific planning committee.

All abstracts must be prepared according to the submission guidelines and using the online abstract templates provided.
Presentations
Authors of accepted abstracts will be expected to be present their project to attendees at the conference. Successful candidates will need to be registered in order to present.
There is an opportunity for authors of the abstract to be selected for oral presentation. The scientific planning committee will invite the authors of the selected abstracts to prepare an oral presentation, in addition to the poster. This is to provide an opportunity for the researchers to share their project with the audience.
