Dr. (Mohammad Rami) Al-Ahmar is a Physiatrist and Spinal Injury Consultant who has made significant contributions to the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation. He completed his MBBS, MD from Damascus University (Syria) and his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation (Jordanian Board PM&R) in 2008. He then achieved a spinal cord injury fellowship in 2012 from Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Hospital, Oswestry, UK.

Dr. Al-Ahmar has held various prestigious positions during his career, including Consultant of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Musculoskeletal and Spinal injury (PM&R JB), Head of Spinal Unit, International Spinal Cord Injury Society (ISCoS) Educational Committee member representing the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, and Founder and current President of the Middle East North Africa Spinal Cord Injury (MENASCI) Network. He is also a member of the WHO Development Expert Group for the Spinal Cord Injury Sub-Committee, former Chief of the Scientific Committee for the Jordanian PM&R Medical Society, Vice President of the Jordanian Charitable Spinal Cord Injury Society (JoSCIS), and Jordanian Osteoporosis Society Board Member to name a few.

He has received numerous awards and honors, including the ISCoS & ASIA Award for the best oral podium presentation about "Pressure Ulcer and Bacterial strains" in Montreal, Canada in 2015, the United Nations Medal for Administrative Competence in 2008, and medals of long stay and leadership.

Dr. Al-Ahmar's research interests include physical medicine and rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, MSK, osteoporosis and spasticity. He has contributed significantly to the field through numerous publications in international Journals and serving as a faculty speaker, guest speaker, moderator and organizing committee member in many national and international conferences.
