Dr. Raquel Neves, PHD
Director of Nursing Almoosa Rehabilitation
Raquel Neves has over 17 years of clinical experience in the rehabilitation field. Currently she is the Director of Nursing for Almoosa Rehabilitation Hospital (Almoosa Health Group). Previously she held the position as Director at Dubai Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center (UAE) and Adjunct Faculty for the Health Science at the Higher College of Technology (UAE). Previously, Dr. Neves worked in UAE, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Portugal.
She holds a specialization, master’s and doctorate degree in nursing rehabilitation and has been a co-author of Chapter 7 - Post-Acute Stroke Care, part of Comprehensive Review for Stroke Nursing, 2nd edition from AANN (USA).
In addition, Neves served in the Board of Directors for ARN (USA), is an active member of the Simulation and Neuro-Rehabilitation Committees of the European Stroke Society (Europe) and the founder of the Emirates Nursing Rehabilitation Society (UAE).
