Dr. Geri Amori, PhD, ARM, CPHRM, DFASHRM
Principle, Amori Associates

Geri Amori brings more than 30 years in Risk Management, 9 years in behavioral health, and 40 years as an educator. She is the principal of Amori Associates, through which she propagates the understanding and application of the uniquely human implications of communication to support healthcare.

She served Coverys/Med-IQ as Vice President for Academic Affairs. She is a dedicated member of ASHRM, receiving the Distinguished Service, the Presidential Citation, and the Journal Author Awards as well as the designation of Distinguished Fellow.

She has taught aspects of communication in healthcare in 49 of the United States and believes there is much still to be done. Geri has a PhD in Counseling from the University of Florida, and a Master’s in Counseling and Human Systems from FSU. She is an active member of the UVMMC PFAC as well as vice-chair of the Vermont Ethics Network Board.
