Dr. Mary Jyothis Titus, Ph.D.
Dr. Mary possesses diverse healthcare knowledge and experience, strong leadership skills and demonstrated expertise in quality improvement to her role as Assistant Executive Director for Quality & Patient Safety with Rumailah Hospital under Hamad Medical Corporation. She is a veteran healthcare professional who has specialized in the quality and risk at the executive level. She has extensive knowledge in healthcare quality improvement and quality assurance / accreditation requirements. Dr. Mary joined Rumailah Hospital in 2020 as Assistant Executive Director for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety. She was working with Al Khor Hospital (AKH) Administration since 2004 and further to that took over the lead role at AKH in Quality and Patient Safety since 2009.
Prior to joining HMC in 2004, Dr. Mary served as Operations Executive at Century Hospital and later as Assistant Administrator at Indira Gandhi Cooperative, Kerala - India where she provided oversight and guidance for the operational, facility safety, materials management and public relation activities.
Her current responsibilities include regulatory compliance, risk management/patient safety, survey readiness and quality management/performance improvement. Dr. Mary’s experience includes project development, implementation of various processes/systems for process improvement, risk reduction, and compliance. Dr. Mary also holds faculty position at Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute of HMC.
