The management of wounds, the challenge of chronic wounds and the
associated assessment of tissue viability, require healthcare
professionals to keep their knowledge up-to-date in wound care. In

The Qatar First International Wound Management
Conference, (QFIWMC) 2016, focused on awareness in wound care and
welcomed over 1500 delegates. This year, the Qatar Second International
Wound Management Conference (QSIWMC), 2017 will focus on the topic:
Modernization and Innovations in Wound Care: From Implementation to
Perfection.
The aim of the conference is to promote a coordinated
and fully integrated approach to the recent innovations and updates in
wound care to our clinical practice. The conference will also cover a
wide range of other topics including, the latest technology, devices,
products and we will also explore quality of life indictors for patients
and their significant others.
The overall vision of the
conference is to bring research in wound care to fundamentally improve
the quality of life for patients by enhancing the quality of care in
wound care we offer.
